Will Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp Ignore The Physical And Sexual Assault Of An Old Man By Police On The Streets Of Her Town

My grandfather went to Queen Elizabeth’s coronation.

At the same Queen’s Melbourne memorial service last year, I was removed from prayer at the Cathedral and physically and sexually assaulted by police.

A week ago today, I wrote to Melbourne Lord Mayor, Sally Capp, asking her to talk with me. I wanted her to strongly support an IBAC (The Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission.) investigation. IBAC routinely sends matters complaining about the police back to the police to investigate. That just is not acceptable to me.

My email has not been answered. I went to the Town Hall customer service office for answers and one other Council office that promises to give people with problems full understanding.

Most of her bureaucratic minded staff in these two different offices have fobbed me off with excuses.

One guy said to me he had been told that the email had not arrived but that Sally Capp’s staff told him that I should complain to IBAC.

That was what I wanted, but I need the Lord Mayor’s open backing to avoid the trauma of having police investigate me for a police crime against me. Victoria Police just cannot be trusted anymore.

I am going through hell.

If the Lord Mayor says loud and clear that IBAC should investigate this and not send it back to the police, then I will proceed. Maybe IBAC will listen to her.

Otherwise I am just one more man whose rights can be trashed by uncaring police state shit in Australia.
