A federal election is due in Australia in mid May.
According to Wikipedia, in the polls, the “progressive” Australian Labor Party (ALP) currently leads the more conservative Morrison government by ten percentage points in the two party preferred vote.
Victory looks assured for ALP leader Anthony Albanese.
But, in 2019, the conservative leader Scott Morrison looked sure to lose the Federal election, but he won on United Australia Party preferences in Queensland.
It wasn’t the only great comeback in ScoMo’s career. After having his contract as managing director at Tourism Australia terminated in 2006, he entered politics and became Prime Minister.
Australia faces massive problems.
Out of control, insitutionalised PC correctness has lead to
A. Ridiculous human rights violations and even deaths in the name of public health.
B. Persecution of religious people for practising their faiths.
C. Persecution of men like me for being patriotic men and, in my case, for wanting to commemorate WW2.
Now, China has a “controversial new security deal”* with the Solomon Islands, one of Australia’s six closest neighbours.
Is Anthony Albanese from the ALP’s socialist left faction the right man to lead the culturally predominantly western but geographically eastern nation of Australia now?
My hopes and prayers are that ScoMo can win for himself the title of The Comeback King.
