On the date that Charles Dickens died, I assert that people need freedom.
In this age of darkness, when millions of people are losing their freedoms, some of them will die from the despair.
To paraphrase Pip from Dickens’ classic novel Great Expectations: “how strange it (is) that (we) should be encompassed by all this taint of prison ……”
These coronavirus lockdowns seem downright murderous to me.
